Description from the seller
Champagne Ice Bucket Perrier-Jouët – Épernay, France
Elegant champagne ice bucket from the famous Perrier-Jouët house, located in the heart of the Champagne region in Épernay, France.
The bucket is made of green glass and richly decorated with the iconic flowers, a design by the renowned artist Émile Gallé, applied in fine enamel. This floral motif was introduced in the early 20th century and grew into the signature emblem of Perrier-Jouët, symbolizing luxury and refinement.
The champagne house Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 and is known for its elegant and floral style. The collaboration with Émile Gallé, one of the great names of French Art Nouveau, laid the foundation for a unique visual identity that is admired worldwide to this day.
Color: Green glass with enameled decoration
Height: 20 cm
Diameter: 19 cm
Condition: Excellent condition, with hardly any signs of age or use.
NB: The previous owner applied a white substance (paint?) to the inside of the bucket. I could not remove it completely. The white substance is still clearly visible on the inside. From the outside it is barely noticeable. Perhaps the buyer will manage to remove it?
A special and stylish collectible object that is both functional and decorative, embodying the rich history of one of the most prestigious champagne brands.
The photos are part of the description.
Carefully and insuredly shipped.
