Christofle is a French silversmithing and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle.

The company is known for having introduced electrolytic gilding and silver plating in France in 1842. The firm was acquired in 2012 by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family luxury group.

Maison Christofle relies on entirely hand-made production following traditional techniques. The precious crafts of turning-raising, planishing, chasing, engraving, continued by its Master Goldsmiths and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, immortalize the qualities of elegance and excellence of all Christofle pieces. This irreplaceable human know-how is perpetuated by highly skilled artisans.
