Description from the seller
A beautiful and rare Snowflake Obsidian sphere from Jalisco, Mexico, featuring a strong visual presence and highly attractive natural patterning.
Snowflake Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass distinguished by its characteristic snowflake-like crystal formations scattered through a deep black background. This contrast gives every piece its own unique look and makes the material especially popular among sphere collectors and decorative mineral enthusiasts.
What makes this sphere particularly desirable is its large and showy size. Snowflake Obsidian in bigger sphere sizes is becoming increasingly harder to source, which gives this piece additional collector appeal. Its substantial presence makes it an eye-catching display specimen and a standout addition to any sphere collection.
The sphere has been shaped and polished to a smooth glossy finish, bringing out the natural contrast between the dark Obsidian base and the lighter “snowflake” patterns.
