Marten Toonder Studio's - 1 original painting - Marten Toonder Studio's - Tom Poes & Heer Bommel - Tom Poes (jaren 1970)

Original drawings from Marten Toonder Studios have always been extremely rare, and that will never change. On December 1, 2010, the cultural heritage of Marten Toonder (all the work that Marten Toonder himself created) was officially transferred by the heirs to the Letterkundig Museum Leiden and has since therefore been the property of the Dutch state. In November 2018, the archive of Marten Toonder Studios was donated to the Literatuurmuseum in The Hague and the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. See the last photo. The chance of original drawings entering the market has thus become very small.

This drawing, now up for auction, is a wonderfully beautiful original painting of a "publicity cel" (not a film cel!), painted in the 1970s on celluloid to be used for advertising purposes by Marten Toonder Studios. See also photo 4 of the back which shows that the drawing is original.

Size: approximately 15 x 9.5 cm.

Also see the photos, which form a substantial part of the description and give a good impression of the quality.

The lovely top piece will be sent to the new owner, fully packaged, by registered post at the most.
