Description from the seller

A beautiful set of two matching vintage candlesticks from Delta Ceramics, made in glossy ivory-colored ceramic with rich gold-tone decoration.

These particularly decorative candlesticks are characterized by their elegant, elongated form, refined vertical gold-tone stripes, and stylish square bases. The combination of warm ivory and mirror-like gold gives the candlesticks a luxurious and timeless appearance.

Design and styling

The candlesticks feature a classic-inspired design with clear influences from the Hollywood Regency style.

The slender, gently tapering columns are adorned with alternating ivory-colored and glossy gold-tone vertical stripes. The reflective gold decoration creates a particularly beautiful play of light when viewed from different angles.

The top consists of an elegantly widening candle holder with a gold-colored rim. Under the column there is a decorative, rounded gold-colored connection that transitions into a broad ivory-colored base.

The candlesticks rest on sturdy, square bases with a gold-colored finish. These give the piece a stately look and contribute to a harmonious design.

Origin and mark

The candlesticks come from Delta Ceramics, as indicated by the original mark on the underside.

The mark is visible on the sunken bottom of one of the candlesticks and forms an interesting detail for collectors and lovers of vintage ceramics.

The design recalls decorative ceramics from the second half of the twentieth century, probably the 1970s–1980s. The exact production date has not been established.
