An impressive agate geode half with a dense druzy layer of small quartz crystals, finished with a titanium coating that gives the entire surface a deep metallic play of color. Depending on the light, the color shifts from olive green and bronze to violet, turquoise and gold – each crystal facet catching the light slightly differently.
The edge of the geode reveals the natural agate banding, where the coating flows into bright rainbow hues from blue to yellow and magenta. The backside shows the original, untreated matrix with green celadonite and white quartz veins: the evidence of the volcanic cavity in which this stone grew millions of years ago.
The specimen is mounted on a black metal stand, allowing the geode to stand freely in space and be admired from both sides. A showpiece on a bookshelf, desk or windowsill.
