Description from the seller
Beautiful detailed image of Amoghasiddhi Buddha (Gold Face), one of the five Dhyani Buddhas within Tibetan Buddhism.
The statue is executed in patinated bronze, with a gold-colored face (Gold Face), deeply blue painted curly hair, a red urna on the forehead and richly decorated robes.
The raised right hand displays the abhaya mudra, the characteristic gesture of protection, reassurance and fearlessness. The left hand rests on the lap and carries a small ritual bowl, symbolizing simplicity and spiritual nourishment.
The Buddha sits in full lotus position (padmasana) on a richly decorated double lotus throne. The closed underside is provided with a double vajra motif, which among other things stands for stability and indestructibility.
The statue shows a beautiful combination of warm bronze tones, greenish patina and gold-colored accents.
