The absolute protagonist is a white and black spotted charger, a parade, battle, and legend animal. Portrayed in a frontal pose with the hieratic composure of the great equestrian portraits of court painting. It is not an ordinary horse: it is an animal that has traversed history at the side of the powerful, that has known the weight of armor and the clamor of imperial ceremonies, and here it offers itself to the gaze with the silent dignity of one who knows exactly its rank.

The harness is a spectacle within the subject: a burgundy velvet and dark green saddlecloth embroidered with golden floral motifs, a leather saddle, reins braided with red and gold tassels that hang with ritual precision along the neck and flanks.
