Ernemann Liliput extrem schmale Plattenkamera 6,5x9 cm Medium format camera

Ernemann Liliput plate camera, manufactured from 1914 to 1926, for plates or film packs. Format 6.5 x 9 cm. Expanding construction, frame viewfinder, simple shutter with B and fixed time. The timings work! At the time the advertising claimed: “The Liliput camera is an unusually cheap, small, light folding camera, in which the braces supporting the front part lie inside the bellows. Equipment: The device is all black, has a black bellows and leatherette cover, a simple automatic shutter with settings for time and instant snapshots, and a lens that focuses sharply. Today a sought-after collector’s camera from Ernemann, with surprisingly good photos still achievable. With four !!! matching cassettes in the 6.5x9 cm format, as offered at photo markets. Cassettes and ground glass in a superbly preserved case. Also a plastic “ground glass” by Ernemann for insertion, see photos. The good condition despite its age (e.g., the foldable viewfinder parts are completely present, good bellows) and the folding mechanism are evident from the many original photos! Rare to find in such good condition! Lots of information about this extremely handy camera on the Internet."
