Statuette, Mooi sierlijk messing mariabeeldje - 29 cm - Brass - 1900

Beautifully detailed solid brass religious figure of Mary with the Four Evangelists (Late 19th / Early 20th century)
For rent or offered at auction: an impressive and heavy religious artwork in solid brass, dating from around 1900. The object measures 29 cm in height, 10 cm in width, 5 cm in depth, and weighs a substantial 820 grams. The statue shows the Virgin Mary with outstretched arms, standing on the globe and the serpent, crowned with a halo of stars. Directly beneath the globe are the symbols of the four evangelists (the Tetramorph: man, lion, ox, and eagle) beautifully worked in the metal. The elegantly designed pedestal is enriched with detailed reliefs on the sides. The piece has a gorgeous, warm, well-worn patina that underlines its age and authenticity. A jewel for any interior, a chapel, or a collection of sacred art. The object will be carefully packed and shipped worldwide with Track & Trace."
