Ferrari is the Brand, a studio folder with drawings of forged magnesium BBS wheels for the Ferrari Formula 1 F92 A, year 1991, original edition in good condition, 30 cm high by 42 cm wide, produced in Italy, with mixed media technique.
Description from the seller
Ferrari Formula 1 rare and exclusive folder containing study and drawings of BBS forged magnesium wheels
Ferrari F1 of 1992 (the Ferrari F92A driven by Jean Alesi and Ivan Capelli) mounted 13-inch BBS wheels.
That particular season marked a fundamental historical turning point: it was in 1992 that the long-standing technical partnership between the Maranello team and BBS began
. In that year the Japanese company developed and forged for Ferrari the first competition wheels in forged magnesium in the history of Formula 1, a revolutionary technology for the era that guaranteed an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The wheels, made with the classic central single-datum mounting, featured a Y-spoke design and were finished in dark or matte black with the BBS logo in contrast.
In the seasons immediately prior (from 1989 to 1991 on the 640/641/643 single-seater family) Ferrari had predominantly used wheels from the Treviso-based Speedline, before shifting permanently to BBS from the debut of the F92A.
The folder contains
- Yellow Ferrari Folder
-20 AutoCAD drawings on Kodak Professional photographic paper
-2 paper drawings Ferrari BBS
-Notes
All material is strictly original no copies, unobtainable and unique
