A beautiful antique pair of cobalt blue-and-white ceramic decorative vases by Josef Strnact, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, characterized by the deep blue glaze, the elegant twisted handles, and the oval medallions with romantic/gallant scenes.

The vases measure 49 cm high, and their substantial size and graceful finish give them a majestic grandeur.

A few small chips (see photos), but given their age the vases are in top condition.

Een prachtig antiek koppel cobaltblauw-witte keramieken siervazen  van Josef Strnact rond de late 19e of vroege 20e eeuw,  gekenmerkt door de diepblauwe glazuurkleur, de sierlijke gedraaide handvatten en de ovale medallions met romantische/galante taferelen.

De vazen meten 49 cm hoog, en zorgen met hun forse afmeting en sierlijke afwerking voor een majestueuze grandeur.

Enkele kleine chips (zie foto’s), maar gezien de leeftijd bevinden de vazen zich in topconditie.
