Description from the seller

Bronze Roman ring with tetralobed bezel — 2nd–3rd centuries AD.

Proposed period: Roman Empire.
Dating: 2nd–3rd centuries AD.
Material: Bronze.

Interesting bronze ring of Roman tradition, made by casting and characterized by a robust circular band that widens progressively toward a prominent central tetralobed bezel.

The ornamental surface presents a geometric composition formed by a central disk surrounded by four rounded protrusions, giving it an attractive tetralobed configuration.

This type of ring reflects the taste for geometric shapes and personal adornments used during the Roman Imperial period.

Condition: Good structural integrity, with an ancient patina of green and dark brown tones and signs of wear.

An attractive piece of ancient jewelry, highlighted by its singular design and the preservation of its original structure.
