Specimen: Dinosaurus, a 30.50 g Spinosaurus tooth from the Cretaceous period, origin Egypt, 68 mm long in an 11 × 11 cm display, delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
A very special Spinosaurus tooth in a beautiful display.
The tooth is 68 mm long and sits in a display case measuring 11 by 11 cm. You can easily remove the tooth from the display.
Spinosaurus is a genus of carnivorous dinosaurs that lived about 145 million years ago in the region of present-day North Africa.
Fossil remains were discovered in 1912 and in 1915. Only a portion of the skeleton is known, making it impossible to determine exactly what this species looked like. It is clear, however, that the skull resembled that of a crocodile and was suited to firmly grasping smaller prey. A large sail stood on its back. Estimates of its length range from fourteen to eighteen meters.
The tooth comes with a certificate of authenticity.
