Description
A richly detailed Tibetan Buddhist thangka depicting a complex mandala composition centred on a seated Buddha figure, surrounded by wrathful deities, guardian figures, attendants, mythical creatures, flames, clouds and elaborate ornamental borders.
The painting is executed in traditional Tibetan style with strong colours including red, ochre, green, blue, white and black. The composition is highly detailed, with multiple concentric decorative bands and numerous small figures arranged around the central deity.
