Organoleptic profile
Appearance: Deep, dense, and luminous ruby red, with slight garnet reflections at the rim of the glass.
Aroma: Rich, intense, and complex. Notes of ripe cherry, plum and blackberry jam stand out, accompanied by elegant hints of vanilla, cacao and sweet spices.
Palate: On the palate it is enveloping, warm and velvety. It features soft, well-integrated tannins, supported by a pleasant freshness and a long, persistent finish with fruity echoes.

Recommended glasses:
It is recommended to serve in large balloon glasses or medium-to-full-bodied red wine glasses, at a serving temperature of about 18 °C.

Food pairings: Extremely versatile at the table, it pairs perfectly with rich first courses such as baked lasagna and tagliatelle with meat ragù, grilled or roasted red meats, pork and veal roasts, as well as aged and mid-aged cheeses.

Winery and producer trivia:
Born in 1964, Campofiorin is an iconic wine of the Masi winery that created a new category of Verona wines. It was the pioneer of the technique of double fermentation with grapes slightly dried, reinterpreting the ripasso tradition in a modern key.
