This is a fantastic museumquality specimen of scheelite on Muscovite from the pingwu mine, China.
This is a spectacular piece containing a perfect scheelite crystal with a great luster. Scheelite is a calcium tungstate mineral with the chemical formula CaWO 4. It is an important ore of tungsten (wolfram).

When exposed to shortwave uv scheelite will show a very bright blue/white color, under midwave you sometimes can see a bright orange fluorescence and this is the case with this specimen.
