The ,,Berkelette” is a slicer assembled entirely from standard components, manufactured according to the most modern production methods of the 1960s and 1970s.

The ,,Berkelette” is a fast and compact machine, of very modern design for that era and still an icon today.
Because a special material is used for the housing, the machine can be cleaned quickly and easily. The material used is absolutely corrosion-free, acid- and alkali-resistant, oil- and fat-resistant, light, hard and resilient.

Lubrication of the machine is completely unnecessary. All moving parts are designed with self-lubricating bearings.

A compact, fully integrated sharpening device protects the grinding stones from dust and fat; it can be positioned in the correct sharpening position in one turn of the hand.
The sharpening apparatus forms a single unit with the machine and cannot be lost or damaged by dropping.
