AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
The work depicts the sculptural, statue-like figure of the iconic Halloween killer, immobilized in an unusual frontal pose while forming a heart with his hands, seated inside a white marble sculpted alcove with drapery. The figure and the workman's suit emerge with a powerful physical and three-dimensional presence from the stone background, defining a perfect contrast between the subject's plastic forms, the carved costume details, and the finely polished marble surface.
The precious gold veining that traverses the marble surface, the figure, and the alcove represent an explicit reference to the centuries-old art of Kintsugi, highlighting the value of cracks to symbolize the fragmentation of the pure essence of evil, the ambiguity of the gesture, and the nobility of trauma through the reassembly of fragments. It should be noted that the work is not a real marble bas-relief or a three-dimensional physical sculpture, but rather the visual effect of a 2D canvas designed to offer an optical illusion of exceptional depth and material relief.
A collectible conceptual artwork, where the grand history of horror cinema and pop culture iconography meet the rigor of classical sculpture and the philosophy of imperfection

Seller's Story
Makayhos is a contemporary visual artist working between relief, mixed media, and fine art canvas.
His work explores the idea of time, erosion, and permanence, transforming iconic imagery into sculptural surfaces that appear carved, fractured, and fossilized.
Each artwork is conceived as a unique piece, where matter plays a central role and the image emerges from the surface rather than being placed upon it.
Makayhos’ approach moves away from traditional illustration, focusing instead on texture, depth, and a sense of suspended time.
All artworks are carefully produced, documented, and shipped with professional packaging.
