AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

vase decanter complete with its original stopper. This large-format piece stands out for its elegance and for the extraordinary richness of its surface.
Workmanship and Details: The sculpture stands out for a complex and fascinating workmanship that exploits a massive inclusion of silver leaf and gold leaf within the glass mass. The slender body of the decanter, characterized by elegant vertical fluting, presents a warm-toned base (between amber and red-violet) on which the metallic fragmentation creates a dense material effect, textured and incredibly luminous. Observing the inside of the flared neck, one can appreciate the refined amber-like striations that run along the structure.
Stopper and Base: The stopper is a true jewel, worked with the same speckled silver-leaf technique and topped by an elegant spherical element embellished in gold leaf. The circular supporting foot is also richly decorated, wrapped in a bright and dense application of gold leaf that provides stability and visual prestige to the work.
Artisanal authenticity: When you flip the object, on the bottom of the base the classic sign of the rough pontil scar is perfectly visible. This detail is the unequivocal signature of mouth-blown glass and of the shaping carried out entirely freehand by the master glassmaker.
