Beautiful antique Chinese porcelain spice/seasoning shaker with a silver mount. Kangxi period, 1662-1722, circa 1700. Underglaze cobalt blue with four cartouches, depicting rock gardens with insects, butterflies, chrysanthemums and peonies. The piece is in mint condition. No defects of any kind.

The silver mounts were made in the 19th century by master silversmith Willem Bos from Hoorn. The mounts bear various markings. First-grade silver, scratch-free.

Mooie antieke Chinese porseleinen kruiden/specerijen strooibus met zilveren montuur.
Kangxi 1662-1722, van rond 1700.
Onderglazuur kobaltblauw met 4 cartouches, daarin afgebeeld rotstuinen met insecten, vlinders en chrysanten en pioenrozen.
De bus is in mintconditie. Totaal geen gebreken, zonder enige vorm van beschadiging.
De zilveren monturen zijn in de 19e eeuw gemaakt, door meester zilversmid Willem Bos uit Hoorn. De monturen hebben diverse merken. 1e gehalte zilver, krasvrij.
