Description from the seller
A striking and luxurious pair of blue porcelain parrot candle holders, combining refined decorative porcelain with high-quality bronze details and an impressive sculptural presence.
The elegant parrots are crafted in high-quality porcelain and finished in a rich blue tone using a special craquelé technique. The delicate network of fine surface lines gives the porcelain a distinctive depth and character, creating an elegant antique-inspired appearance.
The porcelain is beautifully complemented by high-quality bronze elements, adding warmth, weight and a sophisticated contrast to the vivid blue finish. The detailed parrot figures give the pair an exotic and decorative character, making them particularly eye-catching when displayed together.
Each piece is hand-painted and hand-finished with attention to the decorative details. Subtle variations in the finish are part of the character of a handcrafted decorative object and contribute to the individuality of each piece.
Designed as candle holders, the pair can be used both functionally and purely as decorative sculptures. They make an impressive statement in a classic, eclectic, maximalist or luxurious interior and would be especially attractive as a matching pair on a console, mantelpiece, sideboard or entrance table.
A beautiful choice for collectors of decorative arts or anyone looking for an elegant and distinctive statement piece with a strong sculptural presence.

Craftsmanship & Casting Technique
Each sculpture is individually cast using the traditional lost-wax casting method (cire perdue) and meticulously hand-finished by skilled artisans. This prestigious technique is renowned for capturing exceptional detail, refined textures and the timeless beauty of fine bronze sculpture, ensuring that every piece possesses its own unique character.
As a natural consequence of this artisanal casting process, small residual particles from production may occasionally remain inside the sculpture. This is an inherent characteristic of the traditional manufacturing technique and does not affect the quality, structural integrity, durability or artistic value of the artwork in any way.
