Description from the seller
Splendid and iconic rotating-centre bookshelf model *CENTRO*, designed by architect *Claudio Salocchi* in 1960 and produced by *Sormani, Arosio (Como)*, Italy.
Claudio Salocchi (1934-2012) for Sormani
Considered one of the absolute icons of Italian design of the 1960s, the Centro bookshelf is a sculptural project and functional at the same time: a central column in matte black painted steel on which two modular, cross-linked bookshelf bodies independently rotate, with shelves in white-cream lacquered wood.
This is the purer and more refined version, fully rotatable 360°, allowing you to create an architectural “theater” in the center of the room.
