Dormouse Designs - Sue Quinn - 1980s - Scotland - 44 cm tall - 100% Complete
Late 1980s hand-made. This rabbit wears the traditional British boarding school uniform, a theme line related to her Bramble Schooldays bears series from 1987.
The rabbit is fully jointed (fully articulated at the arms, legs and head) and is dressed in his original, detailed outfit: a royal blue jacket, a hand-knitted gray Spencer with a white shirt underneath (slightly aged), gray trousers and a yellow-blue striped school tie.
Includes:
• The original miniature brown leather school satchel with metal buckles.
• The accompanying handmade felt carrot in the satchel (often lost with other rabbits).
• The fabric Dormouse Designs brand label at the foot.
• The original paper swing tag still attached to the bag.
The rabbit and accessories are in excellent, clean vintage condition. Kept in a smoke-free and pet-free environment and shows hardly any signs of aging. A top piece from bear and plush artist Sue Quinn.
