Scale: N, H0 and 0; 1 item, catalogue number 50094, new, in original packaging, ECoSDetector returning module with 16 digital inputs, including 4 RailCom.
Description from the seller
ECoSDetector Feedback Module, 16 digital inputs of which 4 RailCom.
Current sensor
The ECoSDetector can monitor 16 track sections. The inputs can be individually switched between track-circuit input (ground input) or current sensor using a jumper. The ECoSDetector can therefore be used universally on all rail systems and is the first choice for all 2-wire controllers. Since the inputs, each capable of carrying a maximum of 3 A, can be supplied in two separate current groups, each ECoSDetector can cover up to two booster circuits. Optocouplers ensure reliable detection.
Detection of train numbers
In addition to conventional track occupancy detectors, the ECoSDetector can also specially monitor four of the 16 track sections: Using RailCom technology ("local detector"), these sections can not only indicate whether a train is running, but can even identify which train it is (train-number detection). For this, RailCom-compatible locomotive decoders are of course required.
Smart
Knowing exactly which train occupies a section, in combination with the ECoS routing module, leads to new features: For example, the barriers at a level crossing can automatically be lowered, or trains can look for a free track in the yard. In this process, the switching inputs or track occupancy detectors are electronically "disconnected" to ensure reliable back-reporting, even with unreliable contacts or heavily soiled rails.
ECoSlink connection
Each ECoSDetector is directly connected to the central unit via the ECoSlink bus. All ECoS command stations and all Central Station Reloaded with ESU update are suitable. The galvanic isolation of the bus system and the command station guarantees the highest operational safety and a safe transmission to the command station. All ECoS detectors are automatically recognized by the central unit and integrated into the operation sequence. Device configuration is done comfortably and easily directly at the command station and can also be performed after installation.
Future-ready
The control software of each ECoSDetector can be updated and expanded with additional features if needed: The required "update" is carried out completely automatically by the control panel when necessary. This keeps your ECoSDetector always up-to-date with the latest technology.
