Vertical three-segment floor lamp Totem by Foscarini, designed by Valerio Bottin, with a metal and plastic construction; height 195 cm, base 40 cm, origin Italy, dating from 1990–2000, in good used condition with minor signs of aging, in working order and requiring three E27 bulbs up to 100 W each (not included) and compatible with LED alternatives.
Description from the seller
A slim, vertical light composition that adds calm and rhythm to the space.
Designed by Valerio Bottin for Foscarini, the Totem is conceived as an architectural light object in which form and light are balanced.
The rare floor lamp consists of three stacked, diffusely lit elements that together form a clear and legible silhouette. Each segment filters the light evenly, creating a soft, all-around glow without direct light points.
The slender metal frame keeps the composition airy and provides a clear vertical order, while the gaps between the light elements reinforce the rhythm of the shape.
In the space, the Totem functions as an autonomous vertical light object that defines a place and visually anchors it. The lamp works in both living spaces and open interiors, where it adds atmosphere while also existing as a sculptural element.
Even when unlit, the Totem retains its clear form, thus reading as both an object and a light source.
