Slender vertical light form designed by Marc Sadler for Foscarini, model Tite 2, made in Italy, constructed from glass fibre and carbon fibre, with dimensions 21 cm wide, 21 cm deep, 55 cm high, in good used condition with minor signs of age, and compatible with E27 light source up to 150 W (LED alternative available).
Description from the seller
A slender light form that builds vertical tension and defines the space with precision.
Designed by Marc Sadler for Foscarini, the Tite 2 reflects an experimental approach to material and construction, in which technique and form are inextricably linked.
The conical silhouette of the Tite 2 is composed of a fiberglass and carbon composite, visible in the characteristic diagonal weave pattern. This construction enables an exceptionally slim and lightweight form, while the light is filtered in a controlled manner. The result is a warm, diffused light field, paired with a focused downward accent that remains functionally usable.
In space, the Tite 2 functions as a pronounced vertical element. Above a dining table, kitchen island, or in a row arrangement, it accentuates height and rhythm without looking visually heavy. By day the object reads as a graphic sculpture; by night the materiality comes forward in a subtle play of light and shadow.
