ECoSDetector Rückmeldemodule with 16 digital inputs (4 RailCom), suitable for 2- and 3-rail systems AC and DC, scales N, H0 and 0, digitally controlled, in original packaging, one piece, catalogue number 50094, nearly new.
Description from the seller
ECoSDetector Feedback Module, 16 digital inputs of which 4 are RailCom.
Suitable for 2- and 3-rail systems, AC and DC
Current sensor
The ECoSDetector can monitor 16 track sections. The inputs can be individually switched, via a jumper, between a switching input (ground input) or a current sensor. The ECoSDetector can therefore be used universally on all rail systems and is therefore the first choice for all 2-wire controllers. Since the inputs, in which a maximum of 3 A current may flow at a time, can be supplied in two current groups independently of each other, every ECoSDetector can cover up to two booster circuits. Optocouplers ensure reliable detection.
Train-number detection
In addition to the conventional track occupancy detectors, the ECoSDetector can also specially monitor four of the 16 track sections: Using RailCom technology ("local detector"), on these sections you can not only see whether a train is running, but even which train it is exactly (train-number detection). Of course, RailCom-compatible locomotive decoders are required for this.
Smart
Knowing exactly which train is on a section, in combination with the ECoS route module, leads to new features: For example, the gates of a level crossing can be automatically lowered, or trains look for a free track in the shunting yard. In doing so, the switching inputs or track-occupancy detectors are electronically "disconnected" to ensure reliable feedback, even with a flaky contact or heavily dirty rails.
ECoSlink connection
Each ECoSDetector is directly connected to the central unit via the ECoSlink bus. All ECoS command stations and all Central Station Reloaded with ESU Update are suitable. The galvanic isolation of the bus system and the command station guarantees the highest operational safety and secure transmission to the command station. All ECoS detectors are automatically recognized by the central unit and integrated into the operating sequence. The configuration of the devices is conveniently and easily performed directly at the command station and can also be carried out after installation.
Future ready
The control software of each ECoSDetector can be updated and expanded with additional features if necessary: The required "update" is carried out completely automatically by the control panel when needed. Thus your ECoSDetector is always up to date with the latest technology.
