Splendid and imposing artistic sculpture in Murano glass, designed by the famous Venetian designer Marcello Furlan for the prestigious manufactory LIP (Vetri per Arredare) and realized in 1989.
The work stands out for a slender, asymmetrical line with a postmodern taste, which reinterprets in an ironic and eclectic key a zoomorphic figure (reminiscent of the playful shapes of a rooster or a fish). The main body is executed in bright transparent yellow blown glass, enriched inside by a fascinating orange spiral work. The decorative details – the large blue/azur handle applied hot, the green eyes, and the red upper end – create a vivid color contrast in perfect Memphis Group style, a movement which LIP’s glassworks has been an excellent interpreter of in the 1980s.

An exceptional collectible piece, which preserves a double and impeccable certificate of authenticity:

• Signature on the bottom: Signed on the bottom with a diamond-point and autograph inscription "Marcello Furlan '89".
• Original label: Features on the front the original adhesive sticker of the consortium "Vetri Murano", perfectly preserved.
