Christofle - Cutlery set (73) - Albi - Steel

Important Christofle cutlery service from the Albi Acier line, consisting of 72 pieces for 12 people, to which a coordinated cake server is added. The composition includes twelve pieces for each of the six types: dinner forks, small dessert/appetizer forks, dinner knives, small knives, dinner spoons, and teaspoons.
Total: 73 pieces.

Model Albi
Albi is one of Christofle's classic lines. The model was born in 1968 and draws inspiration from the pure lines of the Albi Cathedral. The shape of the handles, slightly splayed and contoured, combines classic taste with modern sobriety. The blades bear the inscription “Christofle Acier – France” and the other pieces carry the mark “Christofle Acier”.

Comparison with the current Christofle catalog
The service is particularly complete. Christofle today offers Albi Acier in configurations of 24, 36, 48, 75 and 110 pieces. The 36-piece set includes the same six types present here, but for 6 people: the present lot thus essentially represents the full duplication for 12 people. The Albi Acier 75-piece set for 12 people is today offered by Christofle at around €2,300; the Albi Acier cake server is offered separately at around €83.
