Description from the seller
Expressive mineral specimen with dense crystal coverage and contrasting drusy growths
This mineral specimen captivates with its relief-rich appearance and the interplay of dark crystals with creamy to honey-yellow drusy growths. Numerous closely intergrown, predominantly cube-like crystals form a diverse surface with pronounced ridges, depressions, and open interstices.
In the photographs the crystals show smoky gray, greenish, and, in places, violet tones. Individual areas appear translucent; many surfaces reflect light with a noticeable gloss. The light-colored drusy growths provide attractive accents and underscore the piece’s spatial structure. Different views and close-up photographs reveal the varied crystal coverage on several sides.
The special aesthetic appeal lies in the interplay between geometrically appearing crystal faces, irregular contours, and the finer light-colored drusy growths.
