Description from the seller

From the collection: stovetop espresso pot "Matilda", manufactured by Gottinghen, designer Raoul Piccinini (signature on the handle!) produced 1978–1989. In 1990, in Frankfurt am Main, awarded as the best European design of the year. Form and size ensure that the ground coffee during extraction is not overheated excessively. An air chamber between the vessel bottom and the filter ensures that the filter temperature does not rise above 100 °C as much as possible. For about 2 to 3 cups of espresso.
