DESCRIPTION
An exceptional fashion archival asset for high-end collectors and museums: authentic peep-toe pumps from Miuccia Prada’s celebrated Spring/Summer 2008 "Fairy Collection" (a landmark runway collection created in collaboration with illustrator James Jean).
Crafted in fine black silk satin, this iconic pair features a hand-lacquered, botanical sculpted heel depicting a vibrant coral-red tulip calyx fading gracefully into a deep green stem. The inner leather footbed is detailed with the signature flower silhouette applique beneath the Prada Milano gold fabric label.
Runway pieces from Prada's SS08 collection are featured in major permanent fashion archives globally (including the Met Costume Institute and FIDM Museum). Finding an authentic pair in pristine condition with its original box is a rare occurrence on the international secondary market.
