This special coin series celebrates the history of the Nutcracker ballet. No other figure is as central to the Nutcracker as the colorful, wooden Nutcracker itself. Carved after the likeness of a Foot Soldier by a talented toy maker and the godfather of the heroine Clara, this popular hero is presented in a classic pose. The first issue of the series is engraved, decorated with vivid colors, limited to 2,500 pieces, individually numbered, and packaged in a decorative holder – perfect for glamming up the Christmas tree.
