Description from the seller

Figure of a Thracian horseman, bronze funerary amulet.

An ancient bronze figurative group associated with Thracian culture, consisting of a warrior horseman, a horse figure, and a rectangular base.

In the Thracian world, representations of the horse and rider held significant symbolic meaning and were closely associated with warrior identity, heroic traditions, and beliefs about the afterlife.

It is believed that these figures were related to funerary practices and protective or amulet beliefs, possibly accompanying the deceased in a ritual or symbolic context. The group is particularly noteworthy for its iconography, which recalls the tradition of the Thracian horseman.
