Villeroy & Boch - Casserole dish - Stoneware

Elegant and sturdy oval baking dish (cocotte, terrine or casserole dish) complete with its original glazed stoneware lid. An iconic vintage piece from the famous Villeroy & Boch manufacturer, made in their historic workshops in Luxembourg.
This rustic-style piece, characteristic of the 1970s, features a superb glossy amber/camel brown exterior, contrasting with a smooth cream-white glaze interior.

State of conservation:
In generally vintage-good condition. Shows light signs of use, small scratches or slight variations in the glaze, perfectly normal and in keeping with the age and culinary use of the piece. No major chips or structural cracks. The glaze has retained a beautiful gloss.
