For sale is a beautiful and expressive Art Deco sculpture of an athletic female athlete from the 1920s/1930s.

It depicts an athlete in a dynamic throwing pose, probably a shot putter or boule/Boccia player. The era-typical bobbed hairstyle and the dynamic design are characteristic of the period.

The figure stands on a two-tier, black-and-white marbled marble base and is fixed there.
