Elegant period low stool (also suitable as an ottoman or footrest) in varnished bent wood. Its original, airy structure consists of large hoops of bent wood, interlaced—a geometric and timeless design emblematic of the productions of the famous Michael Thonet manufactory and of its contemporaries (Kohn, Fischel) from the early 20th century.
The circular seat is padded and covered with classic upholstered fabric with a floral pattern (tapestry style).
This classic bistro furniture piece, highly decorative, integrates beautifully into interiors of collectors oriented toward Art Nouveau, Art Deco or Modernist design.
