Description from the seller
Akai GXC-709D vintage stereo cassette deck, built in the late 1970s (circa 1978–1980) in Japan. Technically in 100% good working condition (reels, playback and recording operate properly) and visually in neat vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with its age.
This model is known for the famous durable Akai GX head (Glass & X’Tal Ferrite Head), which guarantees an exceptionally long life and clear, detailed signal transfer. At the front the two large, atmospherically illuminated analog VU meters and the sturdy mechanical piano keys immediately catch the eye. In terms of sound, the GXC-709D delivers a warm, full, and dynamic analog tape playback, partly supported by Dolby-B noise reduction and a tape-type selector including Fe-Cr support.
