Pair of rare Art Deco crescent cushions, in velvet and satin, with central embroidery, each about 77 cm long, 9 cm deep and 34 cm high, made in France in 1910–1920, styled Antique/Arts & Crafts, with cushion stuffing included and overall in discrete to good condition despite some loose threads and minor wear.
Description from the seller
Pair of rare crescent Art Deco cushions. In velvet and satin fabric, embroidered at the center. Length about 77 cm each. The burgundy-colored wedge cushion is in generally very good condition. Normal signs of aging. Some threads slightly loose in the embroidery. Filling in excellent condition. The second, the one with gold-toned wedges, shows a mold mark on the right-hand mirror and the cushion’s center filling has shrunk. On one side visible in the photo, the embroidered wedge should be re-sewn to the rest. Overall the conditions are fair/good, considering use and age. The cushions were purchased from an antique dealer and kept for a collection.
