Architectural base - 1800-1850

A superb solid Swedish porphyry (Röd Rännäs) pediment or base for a small bust or statuette, measuring circa 7,7cm in diameter and weighing 311g, polished to a satin sheen. Estimated age: Circa first half of the 19th century.

Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age.
