Steiff - Toy Pastore tedesco - 1920-1930 - Germany

This plush toy was produced in Germany, in Steiff's historic factory located in Giengen an der Brenz. The simultaneous presence of all these identifiers (metal button, yellow label, faux-leather collar, and the cardboard plaque “Arco”) makes your specimen a complete collectible piece, since over time many of these elements tended to come loose during play, as shown in the photos reporting the condition.
