Description from the seller

Stunningly beautiful highly decorative and very elegant large desktop document chest. The piece is beautifully designed and made with great quality and detail. The chest sits on four stepped feet. The bottom wooden plate has possibly been replaced later. We feel that the piece is in overall good original condition with great original patina. There some signs of aging on top veneer.
