Collection Armour (CDC) 1:48 – Ref. 98169: B-25D Mitchell "Hell's Fire" (USAAF WWII)
Very detailed and heavily die-cast (cast metal) scale model in the large 1:48 scale of the iconic World War II bomber aircraft: the North American B-25D Mitchell.
Issued by the premium brand Collection Armour (CDC) under article number 98169 in 2001.
Details of this lot:
Scale: 1:48
Livery: U.S.A.A.F. WWII - 345th Bomb Group, 500th Bomb Squadron ("Rough Raiders").
Nose Art: Executed with the famous "Hell's Fire" nose decoration with aggressive teeth/bat print and red engine cowlings.
Features: Fully assembled and factory-graphically decorated with very fine details (including movable propeller, detailed cockpit and gun turrents).
Condition: The model is in excellent/new condition. It has predominantly been kept in the box.
Packaging: Complete with the original foam inner packaging and the original outer box (box shows very light signs of storage, see photos). With anchoring in the base.
A beautiful and imposing collectible for military aviation enthusiasts and WWII scale models.
On the bottom is an extensive instruction for the proper way to remove from the packaging.
