Description from the seller

I invite you to bid

The microscope was produced in 1951 or 1952.
Identification details:
• Manufacturer: The device originates from Zeiss-Winkel works in Göttingen, which operated within the structures of West Germany (FRG) shortly after World War II, before the brand was fully consolidated as Carl Zeiss in the 1960s.
• Model: This is one of the early postwar microscopes from the Standard / Junior GF series, notable for its iconic glossy black ebonite finish.
• Circular stage: Versions with this type of stage were often configured as polarizing microscopes (for studying minerals, crystals) or advanced laboratory-research microscopes.
The equipment has been preserved in complete visual condition along with the original bottom illumination, which enhances its collectible value.
