Two red sgraffito ceramic wall decorations from San Marino, dating to 1950–1960 and made by Ceramiche Guilianelli-Titano, in excellent condition with no chips or scratches, measuring 45 × 12 cm and 21 × 7.5 cm.
Description from the seller
Two wall decorations from San Marino in excellent condition, without chips or scratches in a stunning blood-red color.
The sgraffitto style, scratched lines in the ceramic that were subsequently colored, is typical for this period;
The elongated decoration of a woman with long hair refers to the popular BB (B. Bardot), which Giulianelli was especially inspired by in the 50s-60s.
The large plate is drawn by Gaby or Gaty (the decorator of the piece) and is probably from the Guilianelli atelier; the edges are flat, the small one is probably from the Titano atelier (edge with a fat lava finish).
The dimensions are respectively 45 cm by 12 cm and 21 cm by 7.5 cm and weigh 700 g and 150 g.
The two plates will be securely packaged and insured shipped with Bpost.
