Very good and robust minidisc recorder from Sony

This MDS-JE 510 is widely appreciated for its excellent sound characteristics and its fine user interface with numerous possibilities

* Audio compression: Uses the very advanced ATRAC 4 compression technology for clear and natural-sounding sound reproduction

* Connections: Equipped with analog RCA in/out, an optical digital input, an optical digital output, and a coaxial digital input

* Sampling Rate Converter: Automatically converts other digital sources (such as 32 kHz or 48 kHz from DAT or DCC) to the standard 44.1 kHz of MiniDisc

* User convenience: Features a handy rotary knob (AMS button) for quickly selecting tracks and easily editing titles

* The MDS-JE510 is known for its fine manual analog recording level control (via a physical rotary knob instead of a menu). The later models did not have this feature

The Sony is in very good condition, with only minor signs of use
The display is also still bright and not faded

All functions have been extensively tested including analog/digital recording. The deck is in perfect working order

The deck is supplied with 5 Maxell PRO 80-minute minidiscs, so you can get started right away
