Description from the seller

This solifleur vase in Legras style or Art Nouveau-inspired features a beautiful craftsmanship of amber-colored twisted blown glass. Its slender silhouette is characterized by a long cylindrical neck punctuated by helical molded ribs, which flares out dramatically at the top to form a multi-lobed rim with pronounced undulations evoking a flower corolla. The body expands toward a bulbous and stable base. The main face is adorned with a delicate white enamel decoration applied by hand in relief, depicting stylized arabesques, scrolls and foliage in Renaissance or Art Nouveau taste. The object measures 32 cm in height, with a maximum width at the base of 12 cm and a collar diameter of 11 cm. Its individual and total weight is 500 g. This piece bears no visible signature or markings underneath the base or on its walls, which is common for these popular glassworks, although its manufacture suggests an origin likely Belgian or French from the late nineteenth century or early twentieth century. The item remains in very good overall condition, with only a small production defect or elongated air bubble enclosed within the glass on the body, bearing witness to its artisanal manufacturing process. Shipping is exclusively reserved for mainland European Union member countries, and no delivery can be guaranteed to island destinations or overseas territories.
