Description: A fine lot of two lodereindoosjes (lode-ring boxes). Consisting of an oval model with chased decorations including an allegorical representation of marriage on the hinged lid and faith and hope on the side. This model was made by Hendrik Nijman from Kampen in 1831. The other cartouche-shaped lodereindoosje also features chased decorations of various scenes. This model was made by Cornelis van Gelderen from Schoonhoven in 1856.
