AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A rare wall plate made at and by the Porceleyne Fles.
Gelet op de jaarletter H komt dit bord uit de beginjaren van documentatie door de plateelbakkerij en is dit 1886.
The painter's signature points to Leon Senf.
Not only is this plate, with a diameter of 34 cm, a so-called full plate and 140 years old.
But Leon Senf belonged to the top painters of this splendid scene, i.e. the wall plate.
We see an image in the style of Artz, who produced many coastal and fisherman's scenes.
David Adolphe Constant Artz was a well-known painter of such scenes.
If you look at this plate, you see a sober fishing couple with a fish basket sitting in the dunes, i.e. on the beach.
If you look even closer you can see the hand of Leon Senf in the facial features and the clothing, painted with high precision.
The plate is very well packed and shipped by registered mail.
